Never Let The Crown Slip

We all have those days where life throws us so many lemons and we feel like giving up. Whether it’s with work, school or achieving personal goals. Sometimes all we need is a little motivation. Here are a few tips and tricks to prevent your crown from slipping.

1. Constantly Remind Yourself Of Your Goals

Make a list of all the goals you want to achieve, whether it’s in a personal notebook or a planner. A constant reminder of your goals is a great way to stay motivated. Don’t just only write about them, make that first step. Begin to achieve one or two of your goals. Sometimes the problem is that we try to do too much at once and then we get demotivated when one doesn’t go as planned. Take your time and set a time for each goal. Visual boards are also great for daily motivation. This can be made using pictures, inspirational quotes and articles.

2. Don’t Be Too Hard On Yourself

I believe that everything happens for a reason. If a goal doesn’t go as planned or did not work out that’s because there’s a bigger and better plan coming. Don’t allow the disappointment of one goal prevent you from achieving another. Nothing you do in life will be easy, we often have to go through bumpy roads to learn lessons and make us stronger individuals. Therefore, don’t be too hard on yourself, instead stand up and keep on going!

3. Surround Yourself With Positivity

I have found that reading motivational, self help or spiritual books have kept me positive on an every day basis. The daily devotional I have been reading is In God’s Presence by Bridgette Marie and I swear it’s the best thing ever. Surrounding yourself around positive people is very important as well. You need people around you who are supportive. Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot achieve your goal or make you feel that it’s not possible. Dream big queen, because YOU CAN.
