What I Wore For My Birthday!

Blessed, enthusiastic and grown (hehe) is how I felt on my 20th birthday! I’m really big on celebrating birthdays, this year I kept it minimal by having  a spa day the day before my big day.

The Miraval Life In Balance Spa at the Park Hyatt Resort was my top pick for the perfect spa day! The Spa provides a few ammeneties for their customers including a pool, which I thought was the perfect place to bring out my new swimwear.

This beautiful, asymmetric colourblock swimsuit is from Zara. There is a sexy low cut in the back and the front of this single strap swimsuit. The gold brooch on the shoulders also adds a nice touch. Step out of your comfort zone this summer with bold colours and designs! This yellow looked so stunning against my beautiful dark skin.

I accessorized my swimsuit with floral hoops which was gifted to me by my aunt and cat eye sunglasses. Unfortunately, I do not know where either one of them are from but similar styles can be found on Pretty Little Thing and Sorella Boutique’s website.

My birthday fell on a working day, so you know what that means, I went to work EXTRA fabulous! I paired these tan chunky heels from a local boutique, Latoya’s Fashion with this gorgeous floral print dress from Zara. Floral print dresses are a must have for spring! What makes this floral dress unique is its ruffle cuffs and beading on the arms and front.

A late night movie with my girls was the perfect ending to my day. We watched The Intruder which was so good! I kept it slightly casual for the movies. I wore a bedazzled denim skirt from Mango and paired it with a red, tie front bodysuit from H&M. The movie theater can get chilly so this denim jacket from Fashion Nova was a must have and it pulled the outfit together quite nicely.

Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments down below and continue to have an amazing Taurus Season!
